ZOOM THROUGH THE ZOO

Join us for our annual four-mile race and one-mile fun run. Participants follow the course through the Zoo and Overton Park. What a great way to get active and support the Zoo! This race is part of the M-Town Race Series presented by Campbell Clinic, which features Zoom Through the Zoo, Harbortown 5K and the Stars and Stripes 5K.

Packet Pickup / Schedule of Events

Wednesday, May 21 – 9am-5pm

Monogram Foods Splash Park – Event Center.

*Located behind the Cathouse Cafe, Let the parking attendant know you are here to pick up your race packet upon arriving at the Memphis Zoo. *

Race Day Schedule

  • 9:00am - Packet Pickup opens - Monogram Foods Splash Park – Event Center.

  • 4:00pm - Packet Pickup closes TEMPORARILY

  • 5:00pm - Packet Pickup opens - Memphis Zoo Entry Plaza

  • 6:30pm - Kids 1 Mile Run Starts - Start is at main start line at Memphis Zoo Entry Plaza

    • Finish line is located inside near the Cat House Cafe

  • 6:35pm - 4 Mile Run Starts - Start and Finish are both located at the Memphis Zoo Entry Plaza.

  • 7:30pm - Awards Ceremony on Stage

Campbell Clinic Orthopaedics has been in the business of keeping people healthy for over 115 years in the Mid-South. With the M-Town race series we are able to educate the Memphis running community on leading sports medicine care and offer both preventative measures and treatment of sports-related injuries. As the official team physicians for professional, collegiate, and high school teams in the city – we are a valuable resource for athletes and runners participating in this series. We’ll get hands-on for our participants on race day with onsite access in our swag tent to Normatec recovery therapy provided by our performance and wellness facility, Accel.

We hope you will join us for each of the 3 events in the 2025 M-Town Series.

Zoom through the Zoo 4 Miler - May 22nd
HarborTown 5K - May 30th
Memphis Stars & Stripes 5K - July 3rd

Series registrants will each receive a M-Town Series Finisher Medal, each races individual shirt and or swag, as well as special M-Town swag at the final event in the series!

Series Awards:

Awards will be based on cumulative points. Each placing in an age groups will receive points for placing. The most points wins the series. Must compete in 2 of the 3 races to be eligible for the series points. Overall series and Series Goodies will be given to all series participants.
